About Us
The OB/GYN Crisis Coalition was formed to improve Illinois’ medical liability environment, maintain patient access to care, preserve patient choice, enhance patient safety and keep health care delivery affordable.
Mission and Values:
The Coalition’s membership believes its first responsibility is to patients and to all seeking obstetric and gynecological care in Illinois. It is focused on continuing to deliver quality health care and advocating for maintaining Illinois’ fair and just medical liability reforms passed in 2005.
The Coalition is working right now to reduce malpractice premiums to affordable levels and lessen liability exposure for Obstetricians and Gynecologists across the state.
